Distant Drums unfolds from orange-pink pointed buds into medium to large, double blooms in clusters. The rosettes reveal apricot-tan petals washing to orchid pink that transition to mauve, opening flat with gently scalloped edges. Moderately fragrant with spicy notes of anise and myrrh combined with hints of musk, this shrub offers distinctive aromatic appeal as the unique colour blend swirls as it matures throughout the bloom cycle.
