Shipping policy
At Lakeview Roses™, we care deeply about the success of your bare root roses, carefully packing each plant and timing shipments according to your growing zone to ensure an optimal start in your garden.
Shipping Season
We only ship during the spring season from late February through early May, adjusting for your growing zone and unusual weather conditions.
Typical earliest shipping dates by zone:

We will send an email with tracking information once your roses are shipped so you can prepare your garden and excitedly anticipate the arrival of your package.
Shipping Methods
Depending on your location, we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator, USPS, Canada Post and other trusted couriers to ensure safe delivery. Plants are carefully packaged to maintain moisture, protect roots, and minimize stress during transit.
Shipping Restrictions
We currently do not ship to P.O. boxes.
Shipping Rates
Canadian orders ship at a flat rate of CAD $20.00 per order, and U.S. orders ship at a flat rate of USD $25.00 per order. Any required export or interprovincial certificates are included in this charge, and shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout.
Please note that deliveries to remote areas, as well as orders shipping to Hawaii or Alaska, may require shipping fee adjustments. If this applies to your order, our Customer Care team will contact you before processing the shipment.
Delivery & Care
- Orders typically arrive 2–7 business days after shipping, depending on location.
- Please unpack, hydrate, and plant your roses immediately upon arrival, following the included guidelines. Prompt planting is crucial for success.
- If your roses arrive damaged, notify us within 48 hours with photos clearly showing the issue so we can assist you.
Weather Holds
To protect your plants, shipping may be temporarily delayed during extreme cold or heat. Orders are shipped as soon as conditions are safe.
Regional Restrictions
Shipments entering certain areas may require specific regulatory certification documentation. Lakeview Roses™ ensures full compliance with all regulations, obtains the necessary certifications, and includes the documentation with your shipment.
Order Changes & Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled up to 2 weeks before shipping.
- After March 1st, a 20% cancellation fee will apply, as the opportunity to resell the plants is limited.
- Once shipped, we cannot reroute or cancel orders.
