'KORday', also known as Angelica

Few roses capture the fleeting beauty of an apple orchard in bloom quite like Angela®. This floribunda rose produces small to medium, semi-double blooms in rose pink with generous clusters that cover the plant in strong flushes, lightly fragrant with sweet, spicy, and fruity notes with a fresh green character, ideal for hedges, pollinator gardens, and statement plantings. A Kordes introduction with over 40 years of proven garden performance, good disease resistance, and very winter hardy credentials.

More About Angela®

Angela® opens from dark pink teardrop buds into small to medium, semi-double blooms. Reminiscent of apple blooms, the flowers are lightly cupped and open to reveal rose pink petals with a darker pink reverse and a distinctive white eye with white stamens at the centre. The colour softens and matures to a blush as the bloom ages. Lightly fragrant with sweet, spicy, and fruity notes and hints of a fresh green scent. Angela® charms the garden with generous clusters of apple blossom beauty each flush.

Growing Details

An upright and mildly arching floribunda rose reaching 5 feet in height and 3 feet in width. Angela® has mid green glossy slender foliage and demonstrates good disease resistance. Very winter hardy, thriving in CA Zones 5-6+ | USDA 4-5+. Requires full sun and adapts to all soil types. In warm growing regions Angela® can be trained as a low climber, adding versatility to its already generous character. At home in hedges, pollinator gardens, and statement plantings where its apple blossom clusters make a striking seasonal display.
