In 2003 Bonica® was named the World's Favourite Rose by the World Federation of Rose Societies, one of the most prestigious honours in the rose world and a title voted on by rose lovers across the globe. This shrub rose produces small to medium, very double blooms in light pink with darker edges, lightly fragrant with sweet and fruity notes, ideal for beds, borders, containers, partial shade, hedges, and statement plantings. An All-America Rose Selection winner with good disease resistance and very winter hardy credentials that has earned its beloved status over four decades.

More About Bonica®

Bonica® unfolds from pink pointed buds into small to medium, very double blooms. The rosettes reveal light pink petals with darker edges, their multiple layers of pointed tipped petals reminiscent of layers of tulle, opening with a delicate and refined elegance. In hot climates the colour ages gracefully to white while the darker edges linger, adding quiet contrast. Lightly fragrant with sweet and fruity notes, Bonica® charms the garden with its generous clusters and refined rosette expressed in many flushes throughout the growing season.
