More About The Generous Gardener®

The Generous Gardener® opens from bulbous, light pink buds in small clusters, revealing large, deeply cupped blooms in delicate pink with a soft peachy centre. As the very double flowers mature, they open to reveal beautifully arranged petals and golden stamens at their heart. Very fragrant with a deeply perfumed blend of sweet old rose layered with notes of musk and myrrh and a hint of fruit, these blooms bring both refined colour and exceptional fragrance to the garden.

Growing Details

The Generous Gardener® forms a climbing rose with arching stems reaching 10'+ × 6', thriving in CA Zones 5-6+ | USDA 4-5+ and beyond. Clad in dark green foliage with a semi-glossy finish, this repeat blooming climber flowers very abundantly throughout the season and shows minor fungal susceptibility on occasion. Adapts beautifully to both full sun and partial shade. Ideal for arches, pergolas, vertical structures, gardens with dappled light, and pollinator-friendly plantings.
