In 1990, Brad Jalbert left a full time nursery job to breed roses and start Select Roses Nursery in BC, a leap of faith that paid off beautifully. This floribunda rose, one of two 35th anniversary roses honouring that moment, produces large, very double rosettes in warm pink and peachy salmon, very fragrant with sweet tropical notes, and is a proven top performer at Butchart Gardens. Leap of Faith™ unfolds from salmon and dark red bulbous buds into large, very double blooms. Clusters of gently cupped long lasting rosettes reveal a medley of warm medium pink with darker outer petals that transition to medium pink and shades of peachy salmon at the centre, with petals gently reflexing with age to show bright yellow stamens. Very fragrant with sweet and tropical notes of ripe banana combined with rose, iris, and the powdery warmth of English roses, this floribunda captivates the senses as the blooms develop their layered rosette form throughout the season.

An upright floribunda rose reaching 4.5 feet in height and 3 feet in width. Leap of Faith™ has dark green thick and very glossy foliage. Winter hardy, thriving in CA Zones 5-6+ | USDA 4-5+.
