'KORgeleflo', also known as Solero®, Splice, Fairest Cape

Cheery and reliable, Vigorosa® Solero™ brings a burst of sunny yellow to the front of the border, blooming continuously with the kind of easy performance that makes it a go-to for beds, containers, and pollinator gardens. This ADR award-winning shrub rose combines good disease resistance with a rare, old-fashioned charm not often found in ground cover roses.

More About Vigorosa® Solero™

Vigorosa® Solero™ produces large cluster from which lemon yellow ovoid buds open into small to medium, very double blooms. The flat rosettes open with layers of petals creating an old-fashioned bloom form that is rare and distinctive for a compact spreading shrub rose. Bright yellow petals age to a cool butter yellow as the bloom matures. Lightly fragrant with sweet and fruity notes of ripe pear, Vigorosa® Solero™ charms the senses as its cheerful yellow rosettes develop their layered old-fashioned form throughout the season.

Growing Details

A bushy, spreading, arching shrub rose reaching 2.5 feet in both height and width, with a ground cover character that makes it equally effective cascading across borders and containers as it is mounding in beds. Medium green very glossy foliage that demonstrates good disease resistance covers Vigorosa® Solero™. Winter hardy, thriving in CA Zones 5-6+ | USDA 4-5+. Tolerates partial sunlight to full sun and adapts to all soil types. At home in beds, borders, containers, and pollinator gardens.
