Golden Showers unfolds from bright yellow pointed buds into large semi-double blooms in small clusters. The high-centered flowers reveal red stamens as petals open flat with gently undulating edges. This repeat blooming climber reaches 10 to 14 feet in height and 8 feet or more in width with a climbing, arching habit. Few thorns make training comfortable. Golden Showers is decorated in dark green semi-glossy foliage. Depending on growing area, minor fungal susceptibility is possible. Very winter hardy, thriving in CA Zones 5-6+ | USDA 4-5+ and beyond.
