Crown Princess Margareta® provides vigorous growth, apricot romance and very fragrant blooms carrying a sweet and fruity scent of pear and ripe banana with notes of tea. Blooms are medium in size, very double and cupped in an apricot blend that ages to warm yellow, opening to flat rosettes. Ideal for hedges, cutting, arches, pergolas, and shady areas. Tall arching shrub that can be trained as a climber. According to Austin, the Crown Princess Margareta was a granddaughter of Queen Victoria and an accomplished landscape gardener and artist. With her husband, King Gustavus VI Adolfus of Sweden, she created the beautiful gardens at their Summer Palace, Sofiero Castle in Helsingborg, Sweden.

This Austin rose offers captivating aromatic charm as colours transition and blooms mature through their lovely apricot-orange display.

This repeat blooming shrub reaches 8 feet or more in height and 5 feet or more in width with an upright, arching, bushy habit that can be trained as a climber.
