This grandiflora captivates with colour-shifting blooms. Wild Blue Yonder™ unfurls medium to large flowers in rich purple that pale to light purple with a mauve to white eye, shifting to blue-lavender in cooler weather and wine-purple in warmer conditions. Lightly fragrant with old rose, citrus, and spice. Ideal for statement plants, beds and hedges.

More About Wild Blue Yonder™

Wild Blue Yonder™ opens from ovoid, dark purple-red buds, revealing medium to large, camellia-like blooms in rich purple with a lighter reverse. As the double flowers mature, they relax into gently cupped forms with ruffled edges, their colour paling to light purple while shifting to blue-lavender in cooler weather and wine-purple in warmer conditions. Lightly fragrant with old rose layered with citrus and spicy undertones, these blooms bring climate-responsive colour to the garden.
Growing Details

Wild Blue Yonder™ forms an upright, bushy shrub reaching 4.5' × 4.5', thriving from CA Zones 5-6+ | USDA 4-5+ and beyond with great cold hardiness and heat tolerance. Clad in dark green foliage with a semi-glossy finish, this continuous blooming grandiflora shows minor fungal susceptibility in some growing areas. Ideal for statement plants, beds and hedges where its colour-changing blooms can create dynamic displays.
