Beautiful at all stages, this Austin rose climber enchants with rich perfume of myrrh and hints of honeyed tea. Strawberry Hill™ unfurls medium, cupped rosettes in warm medium pink with salmon hues that pale to soft blush, held in small clusters on arching stems. Very winter hardy and reaching 8'+, this award-winning climber is ideal for arches, pergolas, and vertical structures.

More About Strawberry Hill™

Strawberry Hill™ opens from ovoid salmon-pink buds in clusters to reveal medium, cupped blooms of warm pink with soft salmon undertones. As the very double flowers mature, they develop into charming rosettes with button-eyed centers that gradually reveal golden stamens and gently scalloped petals, the colour fading to a delicate blush. Perfumed with a rich scent of myrrh which is enriched by hints of honeyed tea, these old-fashioned blooms bring lasting beauty and scent to the garden.

Growing Details

Strawberry Hill™ forms a climbing, arching rose reaching 8'+ × 4'+, thriving in CA Zones 5-6+ | USDA 4-5+ and beyond. Clad in green foliage with a glossy finish, this repeat blooming and self-cleaning climber creates elegant displays on arches, pergolas, and vertical structures where its clustered blooms and exceptional fragrance can be appreciated.
