This hybrid tea rose produces extra large, very double blooms in velvety dark red with near black tones, moderately fragrant with rose notes combined with sweet and fruity warmth, ideal for statement plantings, beds, borders, cutting, and exhibition. A winter hardy rose with long lasting blooms.

City of Windsor unfolds from dark red ovoid buds with near black tones into extra large, very double blooms. The high-centered and long lasting flowers open to loosely cupped blooms with gently undulating scalloped petals that arch back, revealing velvety dark red petals with a silky dark pink reverse. Moderately fragrant with rose notes combined with sweet and fruity warmth, City of Windsor develops its rich colour and classic form with every long lasting flush throughout the season.

An upright hybrid tea rose reaching 4.5 feet in height and 3 feet in width. City of Windsor is clothed in dark green semi-glossy foliage.
