A rose that defies easy description, Eleganza® Better Times® is a true chameleon, shifting between soft cool yellow, peachy orange, and pink from bloom to bloom on the same plant, aging to pastel with green and blush hues. Introduced in 2021 as a reminder that better times always return, this hybrid tea rose produces extra large, very double blooms, moderately fragrant with sweet honey, ripe peach, raspberry, gooseberry, and powdery notes, ideal for statement plantings, beds, and hedges. Belfast Best Hybrid Tea and Golden Rose winner in 2023, part of the Kordes Eleganza® collection with good disease resistance.

More About Eleganza® Better Times®

Eleganza® Better Times® opens from creamy pastel yellow peach ovoid buds into extra large, very double blooms. Clusters of elegantly shaped cupped flowers open to rosettes with gently arching petals, their colour shifting unpredictably between soft cool yellow, peachy orange, and pink from one bloom to the next on the same plant. As the blooms age they soften to pastel with delicate green and blush hues. Moderately fragrant with sweet notes of honey and ripe peach combined with raspberry, gooseberry, and a touch of powdery warmth, every flush of Eleganza® Better Times® tells a slightly different colour story.
Growing Details

An upright and bushy hybrid tea rose reaching 5 feet in height and 3.5 feet in width. Eleganza® Better Times® carries dark green semi-glossy textured foliage and demonstrates good disease resistance. Very winter hardy, thriving in CA Zones 5-6+ | USDA 4-5+. Requires full sun and adapts to all soil types. Its elegantly shaped blooms make it a candidate for cutting, and in warm growing regions it may even be suitable as a small climber. At home in statement plantings, beds, and hedges.
