More About Pompon Veranda®

Pompon Veranda unfolds from white ovoid buds with green undertones into small to medium, very double pompon blooms with pretty pointed petals. Clusters of cool pink flowers which darken in the center are embraced by creamy white outer petals. As the bloom ages it softens to creamy tones while the outer petals transition to creamy green. Due to their deeply cupped form, these blooms perform best in drier conditions where moisture is less likely to cause balling.

Growing Details

Part of Kordes' Veranda® collection, this rose is hybridized to also perform in patio and container gardens. Pompon Veranda is a mounded, and bushy floribunda reaching 2 feet in height and 1.5 feet in width. Clad in medium green semi-glossy foliage. May require fungal disease management depending on growing conditions. Winter hardy, thriving in CA Zones 6+ | USDA 5+. Requires full sun and adapts to all soil types. Suited for beds, borders, and containers, and particularly at home on patios and in small spaces.
