We Have A Winner, A Field Update And Two Roses You'll Love

Announcing Our Photo Contest Winner

Congratulations to Sonya on her winning submission. The peachy pink colours of Chinook Sunrise® bring beautiful fond memories of Alberta prairie sunrises and the chinook breezes she fell in love with when she lived in the west.

Sonya will receive a Reflecting Glory bare root rose when we ship in the spring. A favourite colour, a favourite scent, and a garden full of blooms. What a wonderful reason to love a rose!

Thank you to everyone for your beautiful photos and heartfelt descriptions. We enjoyed reading each and every one!

What's Happening In The Rose Fields

The roses are just finishing their first magnificent flush of flowers. Walking the rose fields at this time in the season gives us a wonderful opportunity to observe overall plant structure, health and blooms in their various stages. These observations inform our rose descriptions and help shape our decisions for next year's budding plan, ultimately determining what will be available to you. The first flush is always an exciting time to be out among the roses!

Container Gardening

Growing roses in pots and containers is a beautiful way to add colour and fragrance to spaces without a garden bed. Follow the link below to learn tips on what to look for in a rose, what to consider when selecting a garden pot and more.
